MSN Arabia and Octopus Travel Sign Agreement Forming the Biggest Online Travel Channel in the Region

MSN Arabia, the number one network and online destination in the Middle East, and Octopus Travel, an innovative and widely known online travel company, have announced the signing of a mutual cooperation agreement last November between the two giants. The agreement signed in LINKdotNET premises by Mr. Mohamed Sultan, General Manager, MSN Arabia & CPO LINKdotNET and Mr. Ossama Wagdi, General Manager, Octopus Travel, marks the birth of the most informative and extensive Travel Channel in the Middle East.

This new service will primarily serve and cater for people living in the Middle East assisting them with their leisure and business accommodations during their travels. The user-friendly Travel Channel will present users with various services and products while providing them with the luxury of viewing the latest travel offers and packages powered by Octopus Travel. Users can also view all the necessary travel information about the countries they plan to visit.

“We were always keen on providing our users from all over the region with new services that cater to their interests and needs,” commented Mr. Mohamed El Sayad, Business Development Manager MSN Arabia. “In order to offer such a service on our portal we had to partner with a major online travel company that users can rely on. We feel very confident and happy that an online travel company with such a big reputation like Octopus Travel is backing up and powering our travel channel,” added El Sayad.

“MSN Arabia is well known for the services it offers to users in the region and for its high technological support, and we are delighted to be working with the region’s number one online destination,” stated Mr. Amer Al Halabi, Business Development Manager of Octopus Travel. “With thousands of bookings handled on a weekly basis, our massive purchasing power allows us to pass on significant savings to customers and our aim, both Octopus Travel and MSN Arabia, is to ensure that online users in the Middle East get the best online travel service,” he also added.

The new Travel Channel is expected to be officially launched by the beginning of this year where MSN Arabia visitors will enjoy using the new service and gaining access to all the travel packages and offers powered by Octopus Travel.
